Alpha Center provides pregnancy tests with a 99% accuracy rate. These tests are most accurate when taken at least four weeks since your last menstrual period.
Our nurses perform all tests and will discuss your results with you right away and provide an ultrasound if you are eligible. They are available to answer questions or address concerns you may have regarding your pregnancy.
Your appointment will be completely confidential and doesn't require any form of insurance as all of our services are provided at no cost to you.

It's important to know if you took your pregnancy test at the right time in your cycle and whether or not it was accurate. How far along you are determines the options that are available to you.

If your pregnancy is confirmed, an ultrasound may be performed to determine whether the pregnancy is ectopic, and whether or not the pregnancy is likely to continue.
The abortion pill does not treat an ectopic pregnancy, and if you are miscarrying, you do not need an abortion.

If you have an STI at the time of an abortion (whether medical or surgical), you run the risk of the infection spreading to the uterus, which can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Because of the risk, the World Health Organization recommends STI testing prior to an abortion.
Before making a decision about your pregnancy, there are important health factors for you to consider. The goal of a pre-abortion screening is to get the answer to each in a caring and non-judgmental environment so that you can make an informed decision.
Aside from the personal care you'll receive at Alpha Center, the monetary savings range from $537-$1,198 because all services at Alpha Center are 100% free to our patients. Why? As a nonprofit clinic, we are supported by generous businesses and individuals in our community.
Because our services are free, we have no financial interest in the outcome of your pregnancy decision. You will receive the medical information that you need to make an informed decision, and the space you need to make your decision with the information you receive. We will give you information on all three of your options, abortion, adoption, and parenting, without pressure to make an immediate decision or to choose one option over another. There is space to waver or change your mind without financial pressure.
Alpha Center does not perform abortions or provide the abortion pill. Because of this, Alpha Center has no financial interest in your pregnancy outcome.

What is Alpha Center's Standard of Care?
Alpha Center provides medical services under the direction and supervision of a local, licensed OB/GYN physician with over 30 years of experience. All medical professionals in clinic are registered nurses and provide gestational dating ultrasound with additional training.
Does Alpha Center provide abortions?
Alpha Center does not provide or refer for abortions, nor are referrals needed to obtain an abortion. Because of this, Alpha Center has no financial interest in your pregnancy decision. We do provide accurate information on all abortion procedures, expected side effects, and potential risks because we believe that all women deserve informed consent.
Does Alpha Center take insurance?
Everything that Alpha Center provides is completely free, so no insurance is needed, nor is your insurance billed. We will need to see your ID at your first appointment to verify your identity.
